"I am grateful to all my teachers, mentors and friends who have shared the wisdom of yoga with me and I aspire to integrate their techniques and kindness into my own teaching style."

Sue Czuchwicki

Your Teacher

Sue Czuchwicki has been practicing yoga for the past 8 years after being introduced to it through a local community centre in Bendigo, Victoria under the direction of yoga teacher Sally Downes.

A former health care professional and tri-athlete, Sue immediately noticed a profound difference that the yoga postures and stretching made to her physical well being, to her training recovery and straight away experienced deeper sleep.

Whilst initially the benefits were of a physical nature she was amazed how soon yoga began to extend beyond the mat and into her daily life and relationships. With a partner and three children, Sue is constantly striving for balance and the ability to adapt and evolve in a rapidly changing world.

"Yoga brings a calming focus to my life, a greater awareness when facing life’s challenges. It has taught me the power of the breath, the importance of relaxation and the fundamental truth of unity."

Sue's passion for yoga grew quickly which led her to train as a teacher so she could share yoga with others with a vision to inspire and make a difference.

Her warm and personalized approach to teaching is delivered with simplicity, humility and commitment.

Sue gained her Hatha Yoga Teacher Certification under the instruction of Rebecca Richards at Yoga Spirit Studios in Adelaide and is a member of the Yoga Teachers Association of Australia and the Yoga Teachers Institute of South Australia Inc.

Sue has completed workshops with internationally acclaimed teacher Donna Farhi and has also completed prenatal teacher training with renowned and inspiring teacher Janice Clarfield.

Sue remains a perpetual yoga student herself and continues to regularly attend workshops around Australia to enrich her teaching practice.
